Head Accountant

About the role

DBGTECH Solutions, a fast‑growing home automation and smart technology company, is seeking a Head Accountant to independently manage all accounting, taxation, compliance and financial reporting functions. You will lead the finance team and act as the primary liaison with the company’s chartered accountant.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain day‑to‑day accounting entries for sales, purchases, receipts, payments, credit/debit notes and journal entries.
• Manage customer, vendor and expense ledgers, track receivables/payables and produce regular management reports.
• Handle GST compliance – reconciliation, input tax credit, return filing (GSTR‑1, GSTR‑3B) and coordinate with the CA for notices and corrections.
• Oversee TDS calculations, deductions, payments and statutory filings, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Use Zoho Books for billing, purchase entries, bank reconciliation and generate profit‑and‑loss, balance‑sheet and other financial reports.
• Prepare MIS, payment, sales and purchase reports in Excel and maintain clean, organized accounting data.

Required profile

• Strong accounting knowledge with prior experience in a CA firm.
• Good understanding of GST, TDS and other statutory filing requirements.
• Hands‑on experience with Zoho Books and advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and coordinate with external auditors.
