Guest Service Associate

About the role

The Guest Service Associate will deliver professional and friendly service to guests at Ibis Mumbai BKC, ensuring their expectations are not only met but exceeded. You will act as a key liaison between guests and the hotel’s front‑office and food‑and‑beverage teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide proficient guest service and welcome guests according to brand standards.
• Respond to customer queries, resolve issues promptly and handle complaints related to food and services.
• Coordinate with all hotel departments to maintain productivity, morale and seamless guest experiences.
• Identify cost‑effective resource use and educate the team on financial best practices.
• Set up operating equipment, inspect linen and condiments, and ensure tables are cleared and reset efficiently.
• In the absence of the Assistant Manager, take guest orders, advise on menu specials and ensure accurate billing.
• Promote hotel facilities and drive sales through product knowledge.

Required profile

• Diploma in Tourism & Hospitality Management.
• 0‑1 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
