Guest Service Associate – Front Office

About the role

As a Guest Service Associate you will be the first point of contact for guests at Marriott’s Indore property. You will manage check‑ins and check‑outs, handle reservations, and ensure a smooth, welcoming experience for every visitor.

Key responsibilities

• Process guest arrivals and departures, including room assignments, key issuance, and billing verification.
• Handle reservations, modifications, cancellations, and special requests, ensuring accurate records.
• Provide information on property amenities, local attractions, and respond to guest inquiries promptly.
• Maintain daily logs, generate reports, and complete cashier and closing procedures.
• Manage wake‑up call requests, bank counts, and all forms of payment processing.
• Report any security or loss‑prevention incidents to the appropriate department.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with a professional appearance.
• Ability to work extended periods standing, walking, or sitting.
• Capable of lifting and moving items up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Clear, courteous communication skills, both in person and on the phone.
• Team‑player who can develop positive working relationships.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hotel front‑office computer systems (explicitly mentioned in duties).
