About the role
The Guest Relations Executive – Front Office is the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring every interaction is helpful, professional, warm and friendly. You will maintain seamless communication across shifts and departments, and guarantee the Guest Relations Desk is always attended.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain clear and constant communication with all staff, areas and departments using the provided logbook.
- Attend to all guest enquiries and requests promptly and courteously.
- Monitor daily arrivals, especially VIPs and repeat guests, and act on special requests.
- Stay fully informed about the hotel’s services, facilities, outlets, operating hours and offerings.
- Ensure the Guest Relations Desk is never left unattended while on duty.
- Know and follow fire and emergency procedures, and act accordingly.
- Acquire thorough knowledge of all hotel policies related to Guest Relations through training.
Required profile
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to stay calm under pressure.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize guest needs in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and hotel management software.
