Guest Relations Associate

About the role

The Guest Relations Associate is the first point of contact for guests at our Westin hotel in Pune. You will ensure smooth check‑ins and check‑outs, handle room assignments, and provide timely assistance to meet each guest’s needs.

Key responsibilities

• Process all guest check‑ins, check‑outs, room changes and late‑check‑out requests.
• Secure payments, activate or re‑issue room keys, and verify billing accuracy.
• Communicate room availability to guests and coordinate with housekeeping to track room status.
• Answer and log guest calls, requests, and concerns, following up to ensure satisfaction.
• Arrange transportation, provide directions and local information.
• Handle cash, vouchers, credit‑card authorizations and end‑of‑shift cash counts.
• Operate the telephone switchboard and run daily reports.
• Maintain confidentiality, follow company policies, and report safety or security incidents.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior hospitality experience required; willingness to learn.
• Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Cash handling and payment processing.
• Operating telephone switchboard and computer reservation systems.
• Excellent customer service and clear, professional language.
