Guest Attendant – Retirement Home

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Guest Attendant to join our team at a retirement home in Arthur, Ontario. In this part‑time position you will support the well‑being of our residents by providing attentive, courteous service and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents and guests with daily needs, following verbal or written directions.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Handle food safely in line with the Safe Food Handling Certificate requirements.
• Provide first‑aid assistance when required, utilizing CPR certification.

Required profile

• Suitable formal education.
• Experience working with vulnerable people.
• Working knowledge of the Retirement Homes Act, 2010.
• Ability to work independently and accept direction.
• Strong English communication skills (read/write).
• Punctual and reliable.

Required skills

• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Safe Food Handling Certificate.
• Knowledge of the Retirement Homes Act, 2010.
