Gold Loan Auditor

About the role

The Gold Loan Auditor ensures that branch audits are completed within the defined turnaround time (TAT) and meet quality standards. The role involves evaluating gold collateral, verifying compliance, and supporting branch staff through training.

Key responsibilities

• Perform gold loan valuation using standard methods and verify purity of collateral.
• Conduct systematic monthly checks of gold stock across branches.
• Review previous audit reports, identify non‑compliance, and report findings.
• Carry out security checks during audits, including burglary alarms, CCTV, and weighing balances.
• Travel to different states or locations as required for audit activities.
• Deliver training sessions on gold loan valuation for branch personnel.
• Maintain integrity by avoiding any direct or indirect interest in transactions.
• Safeguard company assets and perform ad‑hoc departmental tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Mathematics, Commerce, Arts, Science, Business, Computers or Management.
• MBA preferred.
• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in audit, valuation or banking operations.
• Willingness to work extensively in the field and travel on short notice.
• Strong managerial effectiveness and ability to drive team performance.
