Golang Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Golang Developer to design and deliver high‑quality, scalable software for our SaaS data and AI platform. You will join a collaborative team that blends local and remote expertise to turn data into actionable intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain Go‑based services and APIs within established timelines.
• Extend functionality of SAS products using micro‑service architecture, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers and other engineers to ensure solutions meet functional requirements and standards.
• Write unit, functional and performance tests to guarantee code quality.
• Participate in project scoping, scheduling and progress tracking, raising issues when they arise.
• Own the full lifecycle of code, providing support for internal and external consumers.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of professional experience developing software in Go.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and micro‑service patterns.
• Hands‑on experience with containerisation (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Ability to work in an agile environment and communicate effectively with distributed teams.
