About the role

ANZ is hiring a General Manager, Architecture, Information Security in Bengaluru. The role leads architecture outcomes across Information Security, aligning cyber security strategy, technology strategy and capability evolution through architecture leadership, governance and workforce management. It acts as the strategic architecture partner to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and works with security, technology and risk stakeholders on strategy, investment, resilience and risk priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architecture across the Information Security portfolio, including strategy, target states, roadmaps and outcomes.
• Oversight of portfolio capabilities so that Lead Architects govern capability evolution and its platforms, products, services and technology assets.
• Partner with the CISO and leadership on architecture leadership, strategic advice and decision support for cyber security, resilience, regulatory and technology initiatives.
• Run portfolio architecture governance and act as the primary architecture decision authority for major initiatives and investments.
• Ensure architecture resources are deployed to meet demand and delivery commitments, resolving capacity, capability and prioritisation constraints.
• Build and grow the architecture workforce, including capability development, succession planning and practice consistency.
• Collaborate with peer architecture leaders for cross-domain alignment and integration.
• Contribute to enterprise architecture artefacts, standards, roadmaps and governance, and represent the Information Security portfolio in enterprise architecture and investment forums.
• Identify and manage architecture risks, technical debt, resilience concerns and strategic technology issues.

Required profile

• Over 20 years of IT experience, including nearly 10 years leading architecture functions in large, complex enterprises.
• Ideally experience in cyber security, information security or risk management, and in resilience, regulatory or security transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrated people leadership, including workforce planning, capability development and succession planning.
• Experience partnering with CIOs, senior technology leaders and business executives, and operating governance forums.
