General HR Recruiter – Remote (India)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive General HR Recruiter to manage end‑to‑end recruitment for non‑IT positions across various business functions, working remotely from India while aligning with Toronto (EST) business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding for roles such as Administration, Sales, Customer Service, Operations, Finance, HR, and Immigration.
• Source candidates via job portals (Naukri, Indeed, LinkedIn, Monster), social media, employee referrals and maintain talent pipelines.
• Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers and provide regular hiring updates.
• Maintain recruitment trackers, draft job advertisements, and conduct reference and background checks.
• Support onboarding activities and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the process.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in non‑IT recruitment with a proven track record of end‑to‑end hiring.
• Experience hiring for sales, customer service, administration, operations, finance, HR and related non‑technical roles.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate across time zones.

Required skills

• Proficiency with job portals such as Naukri, Indeed, LinkedIn and Monster.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRMS platforms.
