GB/G Manager – Financial Reporting

About the role

BASF is looking for a GB/G Manager to lead Financial Reporting services for its US and Canada business partners and assigned legal entities. The role is part of BASF's new Global Hub in India and combines strategic oversight with hands‑on delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure high‑quality, compliant, and efficient financial reporting service delivery in line with service level agreements.
• Handle ad‑hoc reporting requests and develop customized solutions for US and Canadian stakeholders.
• Identify business partners’ requirements, maintain regular communication, and foster strong cooperation.
• Lead a multidisciplinary service team, including resource planning, recruitment, activity allocation, and budget control.
• Promote a motivating work environment through recognition, target setting, performance evaluation, development, and feedback.
• Support continuous improvement and optimization of reporting processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial reporting leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to manage service delivery across multiple jurisdictions (US & Canada).
• Strong team‑leadership and people‑development skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
