About the role
We are looking for a Game Developer to join BougainTech’s gaming team. The role focuses on porting existing mobile games from JavaScript to our Apollo Framework built on C++ and DirectX, and on maintaining high‑performance gaming systems.
Key responsibilities
- Port existing mobile games from JavaScript to the Apollo Framework (C++/DirectX).
- Develop and maintain high‑performance C++/DirectX‑based gaming systems.
- Collaborate with development, design, art, QA and project teams.
- Perform code reviews, debugging, testing and continuous improvements.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 + years of professional experience with Modern C++ (C++17 or later) and DirectX (9/11/12) in game development.
- At least 2 + years of experience in JavaScript (ES6+).
- Proven experience porting or integrating games across different frameworks or platforms.
- Familiarity with Git or other source‑control systems.
- Experience writing and maintaining unit tests.
- Strong communication, collaboration, planning and prioritisation skills.
