FWA Manager – Claim Investigation & Fraud Prevention

About the role

The FWA Manager is responsible for overseeing claim verification, field investigations, and fraud detection for insurance claims. The role ensures that investigations are conducted according to defined triggers, protocols, and turnaround times while maintaining data confidentiality and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Study claim verification requests, create and refine triggers, and design customized questionnaires for field investigations.
• Monitor and guide field officers, ensuring timely updates and adherence to investigation protocols.
• Verify and analyse evidence collected by field officers, requesting rework when necessary.
• Coordinate with vendors to produce closure reports, update the ABHI portal, and communicate closures to the FWA and Central Ops teams.
• Track claims from allocation to closure, maintaining investigation quality and meeting product-specific TATs.
• Work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to meet senior and company requirements.
• Maintain harmonious relationships with internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders while protecting confidential data.
• Identify and report fraudulent patterns, new fraud sources, and contribute to cost‑reduction strategies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and virtual collaboration tools.
• Experience in claim investigation, fraud detection, or related insurance processes.
