Functional Tester – Senior Executive (Automation)

About the role

Deloitte's Digital Excellence Centre is looking for a Senior Executive Functional Tester to join its testing team in Bangalore. You will work on cutting‑edge digital products, ensuring high‑quality releases through manual and automated testing.

Key responsibilities

• Understand the application under test, design, author and execute test cases.
• Conduct exploratory testing, analyse results and provide detailed feedback.
• Identify test cases suitable for automation and develop automated scripts.
• Log, track and verify defects, collaborating closely with development teams.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in test automation.
• Deep knowledge of software testing concepts, bug life‑cycle, testing levels, methods and estimation techniques.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment and produce clear daily status reports.
• Strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills.
• Programming aptitude and familiarity with basic SQL, XML and web technologies.
