Functional Specialist – SAP MM & S2P

About the role

The Functional Specialist will support Bosch's Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes by leveraging SAP Materials Management (MM) and related SAP modules. You will work closely with plant teams and Bosch Digital to implement, test, and roll out standardized procurement templates across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Gain competency in the S2P process template (SAP MM R/3 & S/4 HANA) and document business requirements.
• Analyze current processes, identify gaps, and propose improvements.
• Coordinate design‑build activities and collaborate with Bosch Digital teams for implementation.
• Define rollout scope for each plant and guide adoption of the template.
• Validate data migration (sample and mass uploads) and support test case execution.
• Create and track test defects, support cut‑over activities, and provide hyper‑care support.
• Develop training materials, user manuals, and process documentation.
• Mentor junior and senior functional consultants and assist the PIA Lead with improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong communication and presentation skills in multicultural environments.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
• Experience in documenting functional specifications and supporting testing cycles.
