Functional Analyst – License Management

About the role

The Functional Analyst – License Management will join the Software License Management and Renewal team in Bangalore. You will work closely with business and product owners across Airbus Commercial and Group subsidiaries to ensure software licences are renewed, compliant and optimised.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain software licence agreements, including contract negotiations and renewals.
• Coordinate licence requests, budgeting, and delivery for new demand or upgrades.
• Support audits, risk assessments and compliance activities related to software licences.
• Create and maintain Enterprise License Plans (ELPs) and provide guidance during customer audits.
• Collaborate with engineering, finance and operations to align licence planning with project timelines.

Required profile

• Engineering or business graduate with 4‑8 years of relevant experience.
• 3‑6 years of hands‑on licence server and access‑management experience.
• 2‑4 years of project management and business process analysis.
• 1‑2 years of contract negotiation, product management and software asset management (SAM/ITAM) experience.
• Strong analytical, numerical and spreadsheet skills; familiarity with finance and procurement terms.
