Full Stack Web Developer (Symfony CMS & Customer Platforms)

About the role

Join tesa’s digital team to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications for the company’s global websites and customer platforms. You will work with a custom CMS built on Symfony, applying modern DevOps and automated testing practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front‑end and back‑end components of global websites and customer platforms.
• Extend and optimise the Symfony‑based CMS for multi‑country content management.
• Create responsive, accessible UI using HTML5, SCSS, and JavaScript (Vue.js or similar).
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs for product data, customer information, and collaboration features.
• Ensure performance, scalability, and security of all web applications.
• Collaborate with UX/UI teams to deliver intuitive user experiences.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Implement automated testing (PHPUnit, Cypress, Playwright) and monitor application health with tools such as New Relic, Grafana, or ELK stack.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of full‑stack web development experience.
• Structured, solution‑oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in agile, cross‑functional teams and a passion for clean code.
