Full-Stack Engineer – Automation & AI Evaluation

About the role

Streamhub is looking for a Full‑Stack Engineer who will both build product features and own the automated systems that verify their correctness. The role blends backend, frontend and quality engineering to keep a high‑volume measurement platform trustworthy.

Key responsibilities

• Design and ship backend services and APIs using Python or Node/TypeScript, and contribute to data modelling on a Snowflake‑based platform.
• Develop and extend React front‑end modules for the customer‑facing analytics dashboard.
• Own API and web automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium) and create automated validation for ETL pipelines.
• Write advanced SQL for data integrity, reconciliation testing, and schema contract checks.
• Integrate quality gates into CI/CD pipelines to catch regressions, schema breaks, and contract violations before deployment.
• Use AI‑assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) for implementation, test generation, and coverage expansion.
• Build evaluation harnesses for AI and agent‑based features where outputs are probabilistic.
• Apply AI techniques to anomaly detection, regression, data‑drift detection, and root‑cause analysis.

Required profile

• 4+ years of software development with strong backend experience and hands‑on coding in Python or TypeScript.
• Working knowledge of React and advanced SQL for large‑scale data pipelines.
• Proven experience building test automation frameworks from scratch, including design of fixtures, test data management, parallelisation, and reporting.
• Deep expertise in API and UI automation tools (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium) and defining test strategies across unit, integration and E2E levels.
• Experience integrating automated suites into CI/CD as quality gates, with a focus on stability and flakiness mitigation.
• Fluency with AI‑assisted development tools and an ownership mindset to scope ambiguous problems and drive them to release.
