FTC Operator – Production

About the role

The FTC Operator is responsible for executing manufacturing tasks on the production line while ensuring product quality, safety, and compliance with all work instructions. Working under the guidance of shift supervisors and the Head of Production, the operator contributes to meeting delivery schedules and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Report to shift supervisors and Head of Production on daily activities.
• Control process parameters and monitor product quality and safety according to work instructions.
• Perform production operations as directed by the shift in‑charge.
• Set up, load, and unload tools and components; conduct in‑process inspections.
• Apply FMEA, control plans, work instructions and SOPs to maintain process control.
• Execute fettling/post‑moulding, final visual and dimensional inspections, and packing processes.
• Complete all required documentation on the shop floor and identify parts to prevent non‑conforming production.
• Adhere to delivery schedules, contingency plans, ethics/code of conduct, and housekeeping standards.
• Use safety devices and follow all safety procedures.
