Frontend Engineer – React

About the role

We are looking for a creative Frontend Engineer to build modern, responsive, high‑performance web applications for Payoneer’s fintech platform. You will work closely with product designers, backend engineers and product managers to deliver features that serve millions of customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Shape the future of Payoneer’s UI by defining standards and best practices.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive React application used by millions of users.
• Implement new features and improve existing user interfaces.
• Design and build efficient, reusable, scalable and testable frontend components.
• Collaborate with product designers, managers and engineers to deliver user‑facing products.
• Identify and drive improvements in team processes, system scalability and code quality.
• Lead code reviews and ensure high code quality.
• Monitor production systems and investigate issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of client‑side development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, including asynchronous programming and closures.
• Extensive experience with React and modern front‑end tooling.
• Hands‑on experience with web‑application architecture.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
