Frontend Developer

About the role

As a Software Developer within IBM Infrastructure & Technology, you will design, develop, and test an IBM Cyber Resilience product across SaaS and hybrid‑cloud platforms. You will work in an agile, collaborative environment, contributing to both client‑side and server‑side development.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test frontend components using React.js in a container environment.
• Participate in software design and code reviews to maintain high quality.
• Ensure good code coverage and support bug fixes throughout development and testing.
• Plan, create, and execute automated test cases, including load and performance testing.
• Develop automation testing and maintain microservices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (preferred).
• 1‑4 years of front‑end development experience.
• Experience building intuitive UIs with JavaScript, ReactJS, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Experience integrating UI with APIs and working on SaaS applications with CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with unit testing, version control (GitHub), and build tools (Maven/Gradle).
• Knowledge of databases such as MongoDB, SQL, NoSQL, or vector databases.
• Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Jenkins.
• Continuous learning mindset and ability to adapt to change.
