Front Line Manager / Senior Engineer – Heat Treatment

About the role

The Front Line Manager / Senior Engineer will lead shift operations for the heat‑treatment value stream at Bosch's Bidadi plant. The role focuses on supervising shop‑floor associates, ensuring safety and quality standards, and driving continuous improvement to meet production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Organise production set‑up according to the schedule and assign tasks to associates.
• Follow standard procedures, BPS and work instructions to achieve SQCD (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery) targets.
• Conduct and document safety and quality checks, record shift events (attendance, breakdowns, quality issues) and hand over information to the next shift.
• Monitor and manage deviations, implement corrective actions and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor entry‑level associates, coach team members and promote a lean, flat‑organisation culture.
• Maintain shop‑floor discipline, ensure compliance with IATF 16949 standards and drive performance metrics such as FPY.

Required profile

• Proven experience in production management or shift leadership within an industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and IATF 16949 quality standards.
• Ability to motivate and develop shop‑floor teams while maintaining safety and quality focus.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a results‑oriented mindset.
