French Teacher

About the role

We are looking for a passionate French Teacher to deliver engaging French language instruction to students at our school in Kalyan West. The role involves creating an interactive classroom environment that fosters language learning, cultural awareness, and active participation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver French lessons in line with the curriculum.
• Develop students’ reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in French.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments and other learning materials.
• Conduct regular evaluations, tests and assignments to monitor progress.
• Encourage participation through activities, conversations, projects and presentations.
• Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning atmosphere.
• Support learners with diverse abilities and provide additional guidance when needed.
• Participate in school meetings, parent‑teacher conferences, training sessions and academic events.
• Maintain student records, attendance and performance reports.
• Promote cultural awareness and interest in the French language.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in French, foreign languages or a related field.
• Teaching certification or diploma in French language instruction (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Fluency in spoken and written French and English.
• Effective classroom management and organizational skills.
• Prior teaching experience is an advantage.
• Passion for language teaching, creativity and patience.
