French-Speaking Accounts Payable Specialist – Invoice Processing

About the role

Holcim is seeking a French‑language expert to join its Invoice Processing team in Airoli, Navi Mumbai. The role focuses on end‑to‑end accounts payable activities, ensuring invoices are accurately processed and paid on time while supporting the Procure‑to‑Pay cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate all incoming invoices for proper documentation and approvals before payment.
• Code, sort, and enter invoice data into the ERP or accounting system.
• Execute payment cycles, including check runs, wire transfers, and ACH payments.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies through three‑way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receipts.
• Maintain vendor master files, respond to vendor inquiries, and reconcile monthly vendor statements.
• Assist with 1099 maintenance, year‑end reporting, and ensure correct application of sales and use tax.
• Support month‑end closing activities such as accruals and bank reconciliations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a degree in French (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
• Proficiency in French at B1/B2 level.
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Required skills

• French language proficiency (B1/B2).
• Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Table functions.
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems for invoice processing.
