French-English Language Interpreter (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a French‑English Language Interpreter to join a multinational company on a permanent work‑from‑home basis. The role involves providing accurate interpretation during telephone and video calls between English and French speakers, supporting our customer support and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret spoken communication from English to French and vice‑versa in real‑time.
• Listen carefully to speakers, ask clarifying questions when needed, and maintain neutrality.
• Follow standard operating procedures and quality guidelines.
• Handle shift schedules, including an initial three‑month night shift for US/UK coverage, then rotational shifts.

Required profile

• Minimum education: 12th grade, diploma, or any graduate degree.
• French language certification: B2 level or B1 with at least six months of experience, or a UG/PG degree in French.
• Excellent spoken English is mandatory.
• Availability for 5‑day work weeks with two rotational days off.

Required skills

• High proficiency in spoken French and English.
• Strong listening and comprehension abilities.
• Excellent verbal communication.
• Ability to work flexible, rotational shifts including nights.
