Freight Broker

About the role

RoadEx is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Freight Broker to join its team in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. You will act as the bridge between shippers and carriers, matching freight with reliable trucks, negotiating rates and ensuring profitable, timely deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Source and match freight loads from shippers with qualified carriers.
• Negotiate rates and secure profitable contracts.
• Maintain and grow relationships with shippers and carriers.
• Manage load boards, track shipments and resolve service issues.
• Prepare and manage documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate closely with internal dispatch, factoring and insurance teams.

Required profile

• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Basic understanding of freight brokerage operations and transportation regulations.
• Detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving capabilities.
• Professionalism, integrity and a customer‑service focus.
• Relevant education in business, logistics, supply‑chain or equivalent practical experience.
• Willingness to work on‑site and collaborate with internal teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computers and standard office software.
• Experience using load board platforms.
• Familiarity with CRM tools for data and shipment tracking.
