Freight Broker

About the role

GTSW Transocean Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Freight Broker to join its logistics team in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. The role focuses on sourcing freight, negotiating rates, and coordinating transportation to ensure timely and cost‑effective deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure freight opportunities from shippers.
• Negotiate rates and service terms with carriers.
• Manage load bookings, track shipments, and resolve transit issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation, contracts, and compliance records.
• Monitor market rates and suggest route or capacity optimisations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide status updates and uphold service quality.

Required profile

• Strong negotiation and rate‑analysis abilities.
• Experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation operations (preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with shippers and carriers.
• Organised, able to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field (advantageous).
• Willingness to work on‑site in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar.
