Freelance Curriculum Developer for AI Evaluation

About the role

Deccan AI Experts is looking for a freelance Curriculum Developer to support its advanced AI evaluation initiatives. You will assess and improve AI‑generated educational content across K‑12, higher education and professional learning.

Key responsibilities

• Create deliverables that address real‑world curriculum design and instructional development scenarios.
• Annotate and evaluate AI‑generated curriculum frameworks, lesson plans, learning objectives, assessments and teaching resources.
• Assess AI outputs for alignment with standards, instructional quality, conceptual accuracy and pedagogical effectiveness.
• Design and review curriculum aligned with CBSE, ICSE, NCERT, State Boards, IB, IGCSE or higher‑education standards.
• Evaluate AI‑generated learning pathways, question banks, worksheets, rubrics and assessments, ensuring they follow Bloom’s Taxonomy and competency‑based principles.
• Identify factual inaccuracies, curriculum gaps and assessment quality issues, providing structured feedback to improve AI performance.
• Review peer‑developed deliverables to maintain quality and consistency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, Instructional Design, Educational Technology or related field (B.Ed., M.Ed. preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, educational publishing, teaching or learning experience design.
• Proven experience creating lesson plans, teacher guides, student resources, assessments and rubrics.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems, digital learning platforms and AI‑assisted educational tools.
• Strong analytical thinking, instructional reasoning and attention to detail.
