FP&A Team Lead

About the role

Gratitude India is looking for an FP&A Team Lead in Chennai to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and management reporting. The role works closely with senior management and department heads, giving them accurate financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decisions and improve financial performance. The position is permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse current and historical financial trends across revenue, cost of sales, operating expenses and capital expenditures.
• Monitor key financial KPIs, identify trends and investigate unexpected variances.
• Oversee and improve budgeting, forecasting, operating plans and financial modelling tools.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, management reports and ad-hoc analyses.
• Develop dashboards and business intelligence reports for decision-making.
• Evaluate business processes and identify ways to improve efficiency and ROI.
• Analyse marketing programmes, menu pricing, new rollouts and business projects for financial impact and profitability.
• Build financial models and analyses for strategic initiatives and give management timely, actionable recommendations.

Required profile

• 3-8 years of experience in FP&A, financial planning, budgeting, forecasting or financial analysis.
• Postgraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline; CA/CPA qualification highly preferred.
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders and support management decisions.
• English and French or German, depending on the requirement.
• Ex-TCS employees are not eligible to apply.
