RTR GL Manager

About the role

Gratitude India is looking for an experienced RTR GL Manager in Chennai with 10-15 years of experience in Finance & Accounting and a strong understanding of end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) activities. The role covers General Ledger operations, Accounts Receivable, stakeholder coordination and client escalation management, with a 100% office setup in Chennai and night and rotational shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support day-to-day Finance & Accounting operations, especially R2R and General Ledger activities.
• Ensure smooth execution of accounting processes and coordination across upstream and downstream teams.
• Handle client escalations and support timely resolution of operational issues.
• Monitor and track budget expenses and maintain accurate financial records.
• Maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders and vendors.
• Ensure accuracy, attention to detail and adherence to process guidelines.
• Perform data entry, reporting and other finance-related administrative tasks as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10+2+3).
• Non-technical graduation or postgraduate qualification in Finance & Accounts; eligible qualifications include B.Com, M.Com, BBA or MBA in Finance & Accounts.
• 10+ years of overall experience in Finance & Accounting, including end-to-end R2R and Accounts Receivable.
• Ability to handle client escalations and coordinate with upstream and downstream stakeholders.
• Former TCS employees are not eligible to apply.
• PAN and date of birth are mandatory for profile creation.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
• Good-to-have: MS Office and MS Excel.
• Good-to-have: presentation and reporting skills.
