Forklift Operator

About the role

We are seeking a responsible and experienced Forklift Operator to join our manufacturing unit in Tiruppur. The role involves safe handling of raw materials, finished goods and packaging supplies within a corrugated and printed carton box production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely for loading, unloading, shifting and stacking of materials.
• Handle paper rolls, corrugated sheets, carton boxes, pallets and packing materials.
• Move raw materials from stores/warehouse to production areas.
• Shift finished goods from production to dispatch areas.
• Load and unload vehicles while preventing material damage.
• Ensure proper stacking, storage and aisle clearance.
• Conduct daily pre‑operation forklift checks and report defects.
• Follow FIFO, material identification and storage practices.
• Coordinate with stores, production, dispatch and logistics teams.
• Adhere to safety, PPE, 5S, GMP and quality requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years of forklift operating experience.
• Manufacturing, warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
• Valid forklift licence or certification preferred.
• Physically fit for shop‑floor operations.
• Willing to work in shifts if required.
