Forex Cashier – Delhi

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Forex Cashier to join our Delhi team at Sberbank. The role involves managing cash and vault operations, executing foreign currency trades and ensuring compliance with RBI/FEMA regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Handle day‑to‑day cashier and foreign exchange transactions, including cash receipts, payments, counting, balancing and daily reconciliation.
• Execute buying and selling of major currencies (USD, EUR, AED) at approved rates while verifying customer details and supporting documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of all cash and foreign currency transactions and prepare operational reports.
• Ensure proper cash and vault management, denomination control and end‑of‑day balancing.
• Identify and escalate discrepancies, suspicious transactions or cash shortages to the appropriate authority.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience as a cashier in banking, NBFC, money exchange or financial services.
• At least 2 years hands‑on experience handling foreign currencies such as USD, EUR and AED.
• Strong numerical and reconciliation skills with high attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer‑service abilities, and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
