Foreign Logistics Executive for Steel Shots Manufacturing

About the role

The Foreign Logistics Executive will manage cross‑border movement of steel shots, ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations and cost‑effective delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate import and export shipments via air, sea, or land freight.
• Prepare and verify all customs and export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers and port authorities to negotiate rates and resolve delays.
• Monitor shipment milestones, update internal teams and clients, and handle exceptions such as port congestion.
• Analyze freight costs, review vendor invoices and implement cost‑reduction strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Logistics or related field.
• 2 to 5 years of hands‑on experience in international logistics, freight forwarding or import/export operations.
• Strong knowledge of customs tariffs, duties and import/export licensing.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Incoterms 2020.
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP.
• Experience with logistics tracking software.
