Food & Beverage Server – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Food & Beverage Server will join the service team at Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai, delivering exceptional dining experiences in a luxury hotel environment. You will work closely with guests, colleagues and kitchen staff to ensure smooth, high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare mise en place, set up and clear tables while maintaining high standards of hygiene and orderliness.
• Take guest orders, serve food and beverages, and recommend menu progression and wine pairings.
• Upsell menu items and beverages sensitively and responsibly.
• Ensure compliance with Medallia, LQA, Coyle audits and pass hygiene audits such as PWT and HACCP.
• Assist colleagues during peak periods, participate in briefings and meetings, and uphold the hotel’s code of conduct, grooming and safety standards.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the supervisor.

• Demonstrates a high degree of standard awareness and acts as a role model for teamwork.
• Attends all scheduled training sessions and displays warmth, care and enthusiasm with guests and colleagues.
• Maintains personal grooming and hygiene in line with hotel policies.
• Shows a proactive, hands‑on attitude and contributes to a safe, clean work environment.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service operations.
• Familiarity with menu items, wine pairing and upselling techniques.
• Understanding of HACCP and PWT hygiene standards and ability to pass related audits.
