Food & Beverage Guest Service Associate

About the role

The Food & Beverage Guest Service Associate (GSA) works on‑site at Amartara The Resort, greeting guests, taking orders and delivering food and beverages to ensure a pleasant dining experience. The role also supports table setup and clearance, maintains hygiene standards, and collaborates closely with kitchen staff.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, present menus and take food and beverage orders.
• Serve meals and drinks promptly, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Set up, clear and reset tables while adhering to cleanliness and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with kitchen personnel to guarantee timely service.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve concerns in line with resort policies.
• Maintain a professional appearance and uphold high standards of guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• Experience in food service or food & beverage operations, preferably in a hotel, resort or restaurant.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Basic culinary knowledge and understanding of food hygiene and safety.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and stand for extended periods.
• Professional demeanor, attention to detail and a positive, guest‑focused attitude.
• Basic proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
