Fire Safety Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Fire Safety Officer to join our manufacturing plant in Baran. Reporting to the EHS Head, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with fire safety regulations. The role involves close collaboration with production teams to identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures, as well as maintaining up‑to‑date documentation of safety activities.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce fire safety standards across the plant.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments and Job Safety Analyses (JSA).
• Prepare and submit detailed safety reports to the EHS department.
• Organize and deliver fire safety training sessions for all employees.
• Coordinate emergency response procedures, fire drills and evacuation plans.
• Maintain records of fire safety equipment inspections and certifications.

Required profile

• BSc in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or B.Tech in Fire & Safety.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial fire safety.
• Diploma in fire safety.
• Strong communication abilities and knowledge of Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
• Relevant fire safety certifications.
