Fire Executive – Steady State Operations

About the role

The Fire Executive will oversee fire station operations and ensure the readiness of emergency vehicles and equipment. This role supports incident control, fire‑fighting activities, and continuous improvement of fire‑safety processes.

Key responsibilities

• Follow and enforce established fire‑safety policies, processes and standard operating procedures.
• Execute incident command and control techniques during emergencies and actively participate in fire‑fighting and rescue operations.
• Investigate fire‑safety incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct regular inspection, testing and maintenance of all firefighting equipment and systems.
• Track and manage the availability and reliability of firefighting vehicles, equipment and communication systems.
• Lead emergency response activities, including daily fire drills.
• Ensure compliance with fire‑safety standards, checklists and documentation requirements.
• Maintain log books, occurrence records and shift documentation.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (Science stream preferred) and fire‑man certification.
• 0‑3 years of relevant fire‑safety experience.
• Strong understanding of fire‑safety management and incident command.
• Ability to operate heavy vehicles and fire‑fighting equipment.
