Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist – Data Product Lead

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Data Product Lead who will act as the bridge between finance, accounting, and data engineering teams. The role focuses on aligning management reporting requirements with analytical data platforms to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with finance leadership to capture business goals and reporting needs.
• Drive consensus on standardized financial definitions, metrics, and reporting hierarchies.
• Translate accounting and FP&A requirements into technical data specifications.
• Define financial controls, validation rules, and automated reconciliation frameworks.
• Rationalize and streamline recurring management reports for analytics efficiency.
• Collaborate with ERP teams to align source‑system data structures with downstream reporting.
• Work with Data Architects and Snowflake engineers to model analytical representations in the data warehouse.
• Validate that analytical platforms reconcile with core finance systems of record.

Required profile

• Proven experience in FP&A, finance analytics, or finance transformation within large enterprises.
• Strong background in management reporting, executive dashboards, and financial analytics.
• Deep understanding of ERP data structures such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.
• Solid knowledge of core financial statements, P&L, bookings, revenue recognition, and expense reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management skills to align finance executives with technical teams.
