Financial Planning & Analysis Associate

About the role

Riveron is seeking a Financial Analyst to support corporate finance needs and drive key initiatives that align with the firm’s growth. The associate will collaborate with Accounting, Operations, HR, Scheduling, Corporate Development and executive‑level management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial and operational reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop committee (monthly) and board (quarterly) meeting materials.
• Execute month‑end close procedures, including profit & loss review.
• Conduct ad‑hoc financial and operational analyses to aid leadership decision‑making.
• Recommend and implement automation and improvements to reporting processes and models.
• Support annual budgeting and monthly budget‑vs‑actual tracking.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in finance or accounting.
• 1‑3 years of relevant experience in a Big 4 firm, FP&A or corporate finance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting and finance principles.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
