Financial Controller – Service Company Finance

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead all controllership activities for a service company that designs, develops and maintains software intangibles. The role ensures the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting in line with IFRS and local statutory requirements, while partnering with Cost Management, Business Finance, Technology & Operations and other stakeholders to achieve commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead accounting, reconciliation, substantiation, reporting and disclosure for the service company.
• Manage the month‑end and year‑end close process for group and legal entities.
• Provide analytical review of IFRS financial statements and disclosures.
• Design and implement robust controllership controls and governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with Tech CFOs, COO, CIO, Global Process Owner and GPO Cost Management to deliver best‑in‑class financial reporting and risk management.
• Partner with Cost Management and Finance leadership to define and execute the operating model and servco strategy.
• Support finance transformation initiatives and change journeys.
• Prepare financial information for board governance and oversight.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in financial controllership within a technology or software‑intangible environment.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS and local statutory reporting requirements.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with finance, tax, treasury, operations and technology teams.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Experience in designing and governing financial controls and processes.
