About the role

We are seeking a Financial Controller to join a leading Indian conglomerate. The role involves overseeing financial reporting, controllership activities, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage financial reporting and controllership functions.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and treasury operations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead statutory, internal, and tax audits.
• Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders.
• Monitor costing, inventory, fixed assets, cash flow and manage financial risks.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial efficiency.
• Support audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Implement and maintain internal financial controls.

Required profile

• Strong background in financial management and project accounting.
• Knowledge of accounting standards and practices.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Attention to detail and strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Confidence using financial tools and software.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
