Financial Controller

About the role

Alfa Laval is seeking a Financial Controller to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial accounting and reporting across its global operations. The role will support month‑end close, audits, tax compliance, and internal controls while collaborating with key stakeholders to maintain data integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records in line with IFRS, local statutory requirements, and internal policies.
• Prepare monthly financial schedules, reconciliations, and reports for assigned legal entities.
• Coordinate budget preparation and financial forecasts.
• Review and approve reconciliations performed by Finance Shared Services, addressing any unreconciled items.
• Process accruals, provisions, and lease accounting entries (IFRS 16).
• Support the statutory audit process, working closely with external auditors (EY).
• Perform detailed analysis of monthly and quarterly results and disclosures.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards.
• Experience with month‑end close, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and maintain high data quality.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
