Financial Controller – FinTech (Bangalore)

About the role

Join a high‑growth fintech serving a global customer base and build scalable finance processes with direct exposure to the founders. You will lead the finance controllership function and help shape the organization as it expands.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end US GAAP finance controllership function, covering accounts payable, accounts receivable and the general ledger.
• Drive monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports on time.
• Lead statutory audits, tax audits and other financial reviews.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – mandatory.
• Up to 8 years of post‑qualification experience in finance controllership, financial reporting, audit or core accounting.
• Experience in fintech, technology, product‑led or high‑growth startup environments is preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting standards, financial reporting, audits and compliance, with experience handling high‑volume transactions.
