Finance Controlling Specialist

About the role

The Finance Controlling Specialist will oversee financial planning, controlling, compliance and reporting for Haleon's Global Capability Center (GCC). You will ensure accurate budgeting, month‑end reporting and variance analysis while supporting tax, legal and audit teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financials for GCC operations and cross‑charge agreements.
• Budget and control GCC overheads.
• Maintain compliance with internal control frameworks, including SOP adherence and purchase requisition processes.
• Support legal entity and taxation teams on GST, VAT and statutory audit matters.
• Lead month‑end review, reporting, risk register maintenance and stakeholder coordination.
• Perform variance analysis on P&L and balance‑sheet items, comparing against historical trends and growth plans.
• Ensure adherence to internal and external financial control environments, including SOX compliance.
• Provide inputs for external and internal audits and manage audit documentation.
• Collaborate with tax providers to review VAT, GST and other tax declarations.

Required profile

• Degree or professional qualification in Accounting or Finance (CA, ICWA/CMA, MBA Finance or equivalent), completed or in progress.
• 3‑5 years of experience in finance controlling, FP&A, financial reporting or audit.
• Practical experience with IFRS.
• Background in a control/SOX environment.
• Experience with SAP is preferred.
