Finance Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Controller to lead the end‑to‑end financial closing, compliance and reporting functions for our organization. The role will ensure accurate books, timely audits and effective stakeholder management across finance, tax and regulatory domains.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial closing of books, audit coordination and ensure compliance with Ind AS and GAAP.
• Drive timely account closures as per schedule and resolve issues with statutory auditors.
• Manage capex projects, ensuring execution within time and budget.
• Lead accounts receivable activities: accurate billing, revenue leakage prevention, auditor liaison and debtor reconciliation.
• Supervise accounts payable: vendor payments, TDS, service tax and VAT compliance.
• Monitor expenses against the Annual Operating Plan and perform variance analysis.
• Ensure tax compliance, file returns, handle appeals and avoid penalties.
• Prepare the Annual Operating Plan, MIS reports and detailed financial analysis for management decision‑making.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including banks, regulators and investors, providing transparent communication and financial models.
• Develop non‑aero revenue streams, devise monetisation strategies and expand these initiatives across airports.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or equivalent, or MBA in Finance.
• Strategic thinking and strong decision‑making abilities.
• Exceptional leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
