Field Service Technician – Vacuum Pump Service

About the role
As a Field Service Technician you will perform hands‑on service on vacuum pumps, ensuring repairs meet product specifications and contribute to VSS growth targets and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Receive incoming pumps, record model, serial number, customer details and capture photographs.
- Disassemble, decontaminate, clean and inspect a variety of vacuum pumps.
- Repair or rebuild pumps according to SOPs and OEM specifications.
- Test equipment to meet quality‑control standards and record results.
- Maintain a safe, clean workshop and comply with all EHS and documentation requirements.
- Interpret technical diagrams and maintain workshop equipment to VSS standards.
Required profile
- Diploma/ITI or equivalent.
- 3‑6 years of experience in dry pump service.
- Knowledge of vacuum pumps preferred.
- Ability to read OEM manuals and technical drawings.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools and operation of pallet trucks.
