About the role
Otis is seeking a Field Service Executive to maintain and service a portfolio of elevators and escalators in Kolkata. You will ensure passenger safety and equipment reliability by performing scheduled maintenance, rapid breakdown response, and minor repairs.
Key responsibilities
- Perform 100% of scheduled elevator maintenance and service visits within the assigned territory.
- Respond quickly to breakdowns, aiming for first‑time fix and minimal downtime.
- Carry out minor repairs and preventive maintenance to keep units operational.
- Liaise directly with customers on‑site to build strong relationships and address service needs.
- Monitor equipment status, manage repair schedules, and reduce callback rates.
- Handle a portfolio of approximately 100–120 elevator units.
Required profile
- Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
- 2–4 years of experience in the elevator industry.
Required skills
- Elevator maintenance and service.
- Escalator maintenance.
- Troubleshooting and equipment repair.
- Preventive maintenance procedures.
