About the role

Nello is a trusted childcare platform that matches families with verified nannies. As a Field Recruiter based in Bangalore, you will work directly in the community, building relationships and sourcing live‑in nannies and caregivers to strengthen Nello’s caregiver pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct field outreach across Bangalore to identify and engage potential live‑in nannies and caregivers.
• Set up stalls, distribute posters, and collaborate with NGOs and community leaders to raise awareness of Nello.
• Generate candidate referrals through existing networks and grassroots outreach.
• Develop new sourcing channels and partnerships to expand the caregiver pool.
• Screen candidates, collect documentation, and coordinate onboarding with the Operations team.
• Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and recruitment progress.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in blue‑collar field recruitment, community hiring, or similar roles.
• Prior experience recruiting domestic workers, caregivers, housekeeping staff, or frontline workforce.
• Strong local community connections and the ability to build trust with referral partners.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Bangalore for field visits.
• Self‑motivated, resource‑ful and comfortable in a fast‑paced startup environment.

Required skills

• Fluent in Hindi and English.
• Knowledge of Kannada is a strong advantage.
