Field Medical Officer

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Field Medical Officer to lead the on‑site medical centre at our thermal power plant. The role combines clinical care, health promotion and occupational safety to ensure the well‑being of all employees and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the on‑site medical centre, ensuring adequate staffing, equipment and supplies for emergencies and routine care.
• Design and deliver health‑and‑wellness programmes aimed at reducing absenteeism and improving overall employee health.
• Conduct regular health screenings, maintain accurate medical records and provide first‑aid or emergency treatment as required.
• Collaborate with the Site HR Head to run health‑awareness campaigns focused on occupational risks specific to thermal power generation.
• Ensure compliance with internal standards, safety protocols and Adani Power’s sustainability objectives.
• Train first responders and safety teams on emergency medical procedures.
• Monitor health‑related KPIs such as incident response times and employee health indices.
• Liaise with external medical facilities and specialists for advanced care when needed.
• Stay current with industrial health practices and emerging medical technologies.

Required profile

• MBBS degree from a recognised medical institution.
• Associate Fellow of Industrial Health (AFIH) – mandatory.
• Additional certification in Occupational Health or Industrial Medicine is preferred.
