FHS IS Engineer – Fleet Technical Management

About the role

The FHS IS Engineer will join Airbus Flight Hour Services (FHS) in Bangalore, supporting the Fleet Technical Management Central Team. The role focuses on delivering functional and technical support for FHS business applications, ensuring reliable aircraft and component services for airline customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line functional and technical assistance for FHS applications, resolving user queries and troubleshooting software issues.
• Diagnose and log software faults, escalating bugs or process issues to the appropriate resolver group.
• Administer system master data, perform data uploads, and monitor interfaces between FHS IS and external systems.
• Maintain up‑to‑date user guides, FAQs, and knowledge‑base articles to support end‑users.
• Analyze data integrity and consistency across the FHS information system landscape.

Required profile

• Experience working in a matrixed environment, influencing stakeholders without direct line management.
• Strong collaboration skills with support teams, MIS providers, and product owners.
• Willingness to travel short‑term for on‑site engagements with global Airbus teams.
